Privacy Policy

1. What Data We Collect
To provide the Service, we collect:
- Account data — name, email address, role, and organization membership, used to authenticate you and manage access.
- Verification data — the material grades, chemistry and mechanical values, heat and tracer numbers, country of origin, and inspector information you enter, along with the results generated.
- Uploaded documents — Mill Test Report scans (PDF/JPG/PNG) you attach to verification records.
- Billing data — subscription and payment status. Card details are handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe) and are not stored on our systems.
- Operational data — basic logs used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
2. How Your Data Is Stored
Account and verification data are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Supabase). Uploaded MTR documents are stored in private, AWS S3-compatible object storage. Data is encrypted in transit, and storage buckets holding your documents are private and access-controlled.
3. Data Retention
We retain your account and verification data for as long as your organization's account is active, so that your quality records remain available to you. When an account is closed, we retain data only as long as needed to meet legal, accounting, or legitimate operational requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion as described below.
4. Tenant Data Isolation
Material Radar is multi-tenant. Each organization's records are isolated using row-level security (RLS) and org-scoped storage paths, so one organization's data is never visible to another. Access to your organization's verification records and documents is granted only to members of that organization.
5. Your Rights and Deletion Requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, or to request deletion of your organization's data, email us at rcastro@radarqualitysolutions.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.
